Windshield Repair Warranty

What is covered

ClearPath Mobile Auto LLC guarantees the workmanship of each windshield repair for as long as the vehicle is owned by the customer who owned it at the time of repair. This warranty covers the repaired area against further cracking or spreading from the point of repair.

How to make a claim

If the repaired break or crack begins to spread, contact ClearPath Mobile Auto within 30 days of noticing the spread and have your invoice available. ClearPath must be given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle before any warranty claim is approved. ClearPath is not responsible for further damage caused by a delay in notifying us.

Our remedy

  If the damage can still be repaired: ClearPath Mobile Auto will arrange to remedy the repair as soon as possible, at no charge.

  If the break spreads beyond repair within 1 year of the original repair date: ClearPath Mobile Auto will credit the amount paid for the repair toward a windshield replacement performed by a partner glass company selected by ClearPath. ClearPath settles the credit directly with the partner, and the customer is responsible for any remaining balance.

  After 1 year: the repair remains covered for re-repair as described above, but the replacement credit no longer applies.

Insurance-paid repairs

If an insurance company paid for the repair, the credit may be applied on behalf of the insurance company, and the customer may still be responsible for any deductible on a replacement.

Limitations

  The credit is limited to the amount paid for the original repair. ClearPath is not responsible for the cost of a replacement windshield beyond that credit, or for any other damage.

  In some cases, through no fault of the technician, damage may spread during the repair process itself. This is a known risk of resin repair and is not covered by this warranty.

• —

  A repair is intended to stabilize the damage and improve its appearance; it may not remove the damage completely. A small visible mark at the point of impact is normal and is not a defect.

Not covered

• —

  New impacts, chips, or cracks not connected to the repaired area

• —

  Accidents, vandalism, hail, or body or frame damage

• —

  Damage from stress, extreme temperature changes, or failure to follow post-repair care instructions

• —

  Any later repair or alteration by another company

General terms

This warranty is not transferable to a later owner and requires proof of purchase. This is the only written warranty provided by ClearPath Mobile Auto LLC.
