Mobile Windshield Chip Repair

Stop a chip before it becomes a crack

Mobile Windshield Chip Repair

A rock chip is easiest to repair while it's still small and clean. Marc comes to your driveway, office, or parking lot, injects professional repair resin into the break, and cures it on the spot. Most repairs take about 30 minutes. A repair seals the chip, helps keep it from spreading, and usually makes it much less noticeable. It doesn't make it disappear.

What We Do and Don't Do

ClearPath Mobile Auto specializes in windshield chip and crack REPAIR, plus headlight and exterior trim restoration. If your damage is too large or badly placed to repair safely, Marc will tell you honestly and point you toward a replacement shop — no charge, no pressure.

Why chips spread in North Texas

Gravel on US-75, SH-121, and the Dallas North Tollway, plus construction zones all over Collin County, put a lot of rocks in the air. North Texas temperature swings add stress, like a hot windshield hit with cold AC or a cold morning followed by the defroster. That can turn a small chip into a crack. Getting it repaired soon also keeps dirt and moisture out of the break, which helps the repair look better. We come to you in Anna, McKinney, Allen, Plano, Frisco, Richardson, Garland, and across North Texas.

Common Questions

Mobile Windshield Chip Repair FAQ

Can my chip be repaired?

Most chips smaller than a quarter can be, depending on the type and location of the damage. Text a photo for a first read, and Marc will confirm on-site before starting any work.

Will the chip disappear?

No. A repair makes the chip much less noticeable, and how much depends on the type of chip and how long it has been open. The main goal is to seal it so it doesn't spread.

How long does it take?

Most chip repairs take about 30 minutes. You don't need to wait by the car if Marc can get to it.

Can I drive right away?

Yes, the resin is cured before Marc leaves.

What if it can't be repaired?

Marc will tell you from the photo, and you won't be charged anything. We don't replace windshields, but we'll point you in the right direction.

Does insurance cover it?

Some policies do, but it depends on your policy. We don't file claims. You'll get an itemized invoice and photos you can submit yourself.
